Insurance and billing
This is a medical practice, not a membership program. You should not have to pay a retainer to have your symptoms taken seriously.
Visits, labs, and DEXA scans are billed to insurance like any specialist visit. We're in-network with most major plans. There is no membership fee, no concierge retainer, and no requirement to buy supplements or compounded products from us.

What gets billed, and how

| Office visit with a menopause-trained clinician | Billed as a specialist office visit. Your copay or deductible applies. |
| Lab work (for example TSH, FSH when indicated, vitamin D, lipids) | Billed by the lab to your plan. We only order labs that change a decision. |
| DEXA bone density scan | Covered by most plans at age 65, and earlier when you have risk factors. Medicare covers screening DEXA every two years when criteria are met. |
| Urodynamics, cystoscopy, and bladder procedures | Billed as urology procedures. Prior authorization handled by our team when required. |
| Pelvic floor physical therapy | Covered by most plans. Visit limits and copays vary by plan. |
| Prescriptions | Billed through your pharmacy benefit, not your medical benefit. Coverage varies; we will tell you if a lower-cost equivalent exists. |
If you do not have insurance
Tell us when you call. We will give you an estimate of self-pay costs for a visit before you commit to booking, so there are no surprises. Under the federal No Surprises Act you are entitled to a good faith estimate of expected charges, and we will provide one.

Billing is handled by Advanced Urology. Call the number on your statement, or contact us and we will point you to the right team. Please do not include account numbers or medical details in the web form.
